Several of our partner non-profit organizations around the world are involved in artisan projects as a means for economic development - many of them are women's empowerment programs and funded by small business micro-finance projects. By creating and selling these beautiful products individuals can build a more sustainable future for themselves. In addition, their creative products represent the local heritage and culture of the artisan and sharing this with the world is a wonderful way of preserving this.
GoPhilanthropic works with Global Artisans in several ways:
- Artisan Tours: We create private tours in numerous places around the world that link you directly with these artisans and others - spend time with them, learn about their lives, and have them share their skills with you.
- We display and sell these products at various events and festivals.
- Buy their products directly...these are gifts that really keep on giving.
- Host a GoPhilanthropic Party - Have a party and share these creations from all over the world with your friends and family (more rewarding than Tupperware!) Learn about fun vacations you can take that involve visits with artisans and other great programs.
