“It's what each of us sows, and how, that gives to us character and prestige. Seeds of kindness, goodwill, and human understanding, planted in fertile soil, spring up into deathless friendships, big deeds of worth, and a memory that will not soon fade...”
George Matthew Adams

Changing the Way we Travel

At GoPhilanthropic, we strive to build bridges between globally-conscious individuals and support for social, health and economic development programs. In the simplest of terms, we facilitate personal connections between people and global grassroots projects through travel. In order to make an informed decision in contributing to development programs worldwide, we should learn about and see for ourselves the impact the most effective ones are having in their communities.

Our focus is on developing travel programs unique to your objectives - whether you are a school or funding group, family, corporation or a non-profit wanting to connect your donors with your work. Our worldwide partnerships involve connecting individuals and small groups with a range of solution-oriented programs from funding schools and libraries, to clean water systems, and micro-business financing. We maintain a particular committment to programs aimed at support women and girls in developing countries.

Travelers can spend anywhere from a few hours to several days visiting and supporting these fantastic and inspiring initiatives while also enjoying the various cultural, natural and historical sites a region has to offer.

Travel individually , join one of Our Upcoming Trips, or create your Private Group to one of our partner non-profit prgrams working hard to make the world a better place.

We specialize in Donor Trips for non-profit organizations and funding networks wanting to personally connect their donors and network members to their global projects. In these cases, we work side by the organization to craft journeys with the desired balance of project and cultural visits.

Frequently Asked questions

While the goal is to help fund worthy projects worldwide, we do not set standards for contributions. We firmly believe this to be a personal and private journey and our focus is on faciliating the personal connection and exchange with these programs in order that you experience the full extent of their impact. There are, however, productive and non-productive ways to support to these organizations - and we are here to guide you.

Education Before you Go

Prior to your trip you will be provided with as much background information as possible, so that you are aware of the needs of each project. Take a look at the websites and wish lists for the projects, taking time to carefully consider how you might contribute. In some cases, pre-trip planning is necessary. Other projects may have you bring certain items from home. Such programs take forethought and a bit of planning. Either way, educating and mentally preparing yourself before you go is important. Consider sharing your trip details with others in your community, and give them the chance to be involved in giving through your travels.

Our goal is simple - to connect you to well-run, promising programs rooted in providing opportunity. The rest is up to you…
