Donate a Portable Library Box to Local Area Schools
YOUR HELP
We ask you to consider helping The Global Village Foundation and their "Portable Libraries" program during your stay in Vietnam. Your company or family name will be inscribed on the beautiful Mobile Library cases as a gift from you to the children. You have the option of delivering your box in person - visit the school and the children who will benefit from your generosity.
WHY BOOKS?
It is universally agreed that education is the most effective tool in combating poverty. Books are the cornerstone of education. Without them there is no way for children to dream or learn about avenues for change.
THE BOXES
Each Portable Library Box contains 200-250 books in both Vietnamese and English and are appropriate for the age level of the students. The library boxes are then circulated among area villages providing books to hundreds of children who have limited access to basic educational information.
DONATION OPTIONS
If you would like to donate and visit the school during your visit please let us know and we will make all the necessary arrangements
$500.00: Sponsor one portable library case with you or your company name
$300.00: Sponsor 250 or more children's books for all levels
$200.00: Sponsor one library case to stock 250 books
$100.00 Sponsor one ton of rice for emergency relief for villages
$50.00: Sponsor schools and art supplies to students in their class
