Venezuela Conservation Partners and Projects

Project Kamarakoto

We have established a relationship with Angel Conservation who are working especially with the local Pemn communities in Kamarata Valley, Canaima, Venezuela and we support their efforts there, as well as their global intentions.

Their mission statement carries an important message - "Angel Conservation is dedicated to creating, developing, documenting, supporting and working with programs / projects that conserve and preserve the cultures of indigenous peoples, native floral / fauna species and the natural environments that gave them life.

Our goals are achieved by working shoulder to shoulder with the indigenous people and with national and international cultural and environmental specialists, institutions and organizations, to provide the resources and programs for education, research and the restoration of cultures and lands."

There are a number of projects that require funding as you will see on their site however, you can help my supporting any one of the following:

• Help rebuild a lodge so they may be able to receive tourists. Two or three local lodges are under some disrepair but the local Pemn operating them have insufficient funds to fix them.
• Help with supplying cement for school projects - i.e to build extensions / class rooms.
• Donate a new / used laptop.
• Help provide books for their classrooms / future library projects
• Help support a family and send their children to school
• Supply funds to educate the community with technology
