Kenya - Safari and Philanthropy Tour

Enjoy a blend of safari and philanthropy while traveling through Kenya. Visit a vast array of park reserves and view some of the worlds most amazing animals. Stay at beautiful lodges that support the local communities, all while visiting with various organizations focusing on conservation, women rights, education and income generation.

  • Begin your safari in Nairobi visiting conservation efforts saving orphaned elephants and Rothschild Giraffes.
  • Drive north to Samburu National Reserve which provides one of the few sanctuaries in Kenya for several species of endangered animals.
  • Visit the all-woman Umoja Village. What started out as a group of homeless women has now become a successful village where they run a cultural center and campsite. The founder is known worldwide for fighting for women's rights.
  • Overnight at Mountain Lodge, the only "tree hotel" on the slopes of Mt Kenya. See the animals during the night as they come to the watering hole just outside your room.
  • Take a game and birding safari at Lake Nakuru, famous for hundreds of flamingos.
  • Enjoy 3 days at the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. See the Big Five!
  • Meet with the women in Maji Moto and hear their stories, learning about the widows village and the rescue center.
