In some areas, such as Manuel Antonio monkeys can be spotted easily around the hotel grounds. It is extremely important not to feed them. The growth of tourism and development has had a serious effect their natural habitat. Beying awakened by the deep throaty sounds made by the howler monkeys is a beautiful element to the Costa Rican experience.
