Several years ago we left our lives in the US to see the world with our young children. Basing ourselves in Provence, France and in Costa Rica, we built a luxury villa rental business, (www.OnlyProvence.com) assisting travelers from all around the world explore the wonders of these beautiful regions. Our own personal travel had us visiting the wonders of other places - to India, Cambodia, China, Egypt, Morocco, Thailand, often with our young children in tow. We were shocked by the lack of basic needs in many of the communities surrounding these famous places. Within travel lies a wonderful opportunity to open ourselves up and share our resources with those who are working towards self-sustainability.

We were inspired to move back to the US and launch GoPhilanthropic, based out of Rochester NY --an innovative socially-conscious travel company embracing Travel Philanthropy--coupling travel with support for social and conservation projects worldwide. We are small yet dedicated team of individuals who are more passionate than ever about what the future can bring if we collectively take steps, small and large to help our global neighbors reach their potential. Initial years were spent researching and meeting with inspirational humanitarian and grassroots organizations. We now link people with these great projects through travel--a vehicle that connects people on a truly human level and eliminates the barriers that superficially separate us.The result offers travelers meaningful and authentic exchanges with local communities, while providing a valuable source of support for projects worldwide.
